Hexarelin promotes the secretion of growth hormone (GH). It exhibits greater resistance to proteolytic breakdown compared to GHRP-6. Hexarelin consists of 7 amino acids: H-His-D-2-Methyl-Trp-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, with a molecular weight of 887 Daltons. Its molecular formula is C47H58N12O6.
Growth Hormone Releasing Peptides (GHRP-2, GHRP-6, and Hexarelin) form a small group of peptides that function at the pituitary and hypothalamus to trigger the release of Growth Hormone (GH). These peptides were identified two decades ago and have been shown in clinical studies to stimulate the pituitary gland to produce endogenous Growth Hormone.
GHRP-2, GHRP-6, and Hexarelin are interchangeable medications that share a similar mechanism of action.
Hexarelin is regarded as the most potent peptide for stimulating GH secretion. Its administration also results in a significant increase in cortisol and prolactin levels. GHRP-2 is less potent than Hexarelin, but it also causes a smaller rise in cortisol and prolactin. GHRP-6 is the least potent among the three; however, when administered at doses up to 100mcg, it does not affect cortisol and prolactin levels, and at doses exceeding 100mcg, the rise in these hormones is modest.
Another agent that promotes the secretion of endogenous GH is long-acting CJC-1295 (a Long-acting Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone Analog).
Common dosage protocol for Peptides:
Cycle duration: 16 months. The dosage is personalized and may be administered 1-6 times daily, starting with 25-50mcg and incrementally increasing by 25-50mcg to minimize side effects. After reaching the desired dose, a return to the initial dose is recommended. Injections are typically given subcutaneously in the abdominal area 30 minutes before or 1-1.5 hours after a meal. The intervals between injections should be 3-4 hours, allowing the body time to produce GH for subsequent release.
